Urge the FAA to Implement Stricter Safety Checks for Planes

There have been a lot of concerns around airplanes, their functionality, and safety as of late.

Earlier this month, an Alaskan Airlines plane lost a door plug mid-air, causing a dangerous emergency landing. And just this week, a plane lost its nose wheel shortly before takeoff.

Passengers on flights are putting their lives into the hands of the pilots, airlines, and FAA.

The FAA must increase and intensify its enforcement of safety checks. With several incidents happening frequently, there need to be steps taken to ensure passengers can safely ride on planes.

When Boeing returned the 787 MAX to the skies in 2020, the FAA assured passengers that it will “conduct the same rigorous, continued operational safety oversight of the MAX that we provide for the entire commercial aviation fleet.” It seems the FAA needs to revisit that oversight.
