Thank Pres. Biden for Protecting the Grand Canyon

Last month, Pres. Biden announced a new national monument that will limit mining and protect more than 1,500 square miles near Grand Canyon National Park.

Much of the land is considered sacred by Tribal Nations and Indigenous peoples in the area.

According to a fact sheet from the White House, "the area includes many natural wonders, from sweeping plateaus and deep canyons to meandering creeks and streams that ultimately flow into the mighty Colorado River, providing water to millions of people across the Southwest."
