Tell Elon Musk: Stop Spreading Conspiracy Theories

When conservative influencer Russell Brand was accused of sexual assault recently, he turned to Twitter to make the case that he had been falsely accused.

“Is there another agenda at play?” he asked in a video posted to the social media site.

“Of course. They don’t like competition,” replied the site's owner Elon Musk, amplifying the conservative conspiracy theory that Brand has been accused of sexual assault in retaliation for his views on COVID 19 and the war in Ukraine.
