Tell Congress: Codify the Right to IVF Into Law

Reproductive rights in the United States are under attack – and it isn’t just our right to an abortion they’re coming after. Just recently, Senate Republicans blocked a bill that would have guaranteed a woman’s access to vitro fertilization (IVF) nationwide.

It’s no surprise. After all, Donald Trump and his extreme MAGA base outlined in Project 2025 major restrictions to reproductive healthcare, hinting at blocking access to fertility treatments such as IVF.

Sign the petition urging Congress to pass legislation to codify the right to IVF into law.

IVF has helped thousands of families bring children into the world.

Vice President Harris and her running mate Governor Walz have spoken about the importance of protecting these treatments while on the campaign trail.

“Governor Walz and Mrs. Walz have two children, Hope and Gus,” said the Harris campaign. “Governor Walz and Mrs. Walz struggled with years of fertility challenges and had their daughter, Hope, through reproductive health care lie IVF — further cementing his commitment to ensuring all Americans have access to this care.”

This issue is so deeply personal to countless families across the country. Extremist Republicans should have no say in a family’s decision to have children.

Sign the petition today to call on Congress to pass legislation to codify the right to IVF into law without further delay.
