Support Pres. Biden's Plan to Save the Supreme Court

Pres. Biden just used a Washington Post op-ed to outline his three-part plan to strengthen Democracy and protect the legitimacy of the Supreme Court.

Part one, in direct response to a recent Supreme Court decision, is a Constitutional amendment ensuring that presidents are do not have immunity for crimes they commit while in office.

Part two is an 18-year term limit for Supreme Court Justices.

Part three is a binding code of conduct for Supreme Court Justices that would require them to recuse themselves to avoid conflicts of interest, publicly disclose any gifts they receive, and refrain from participating in political activity.

Vice President Harris immediately offered her support for the plan. In a statement, she pointed out that the Supreme Court's "fairness has been called into question" and that "these popular reforms will help to restore confidence in the Court."
