Ronna McDaniel Must Resign

The Detroit News reported recently that Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel joined Donald Trump in working to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The paper reported on an audio recording of a November 17, 2020 phone call in which McDaniel and Trump pressured two Wayne County Board of Canvassers members not to certify the fact that Joe Biden had won the most votes in Michigan.

"We can't let these people take our country away from us," Trump said.

"If you can go home tonight, do not sign it. ... We will get you attorneys," McDaniel assured them.

The Republican Party cannot continue to be led by someone who participated in Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Ronna McDaniel must immediately resign as Chair of the Republican National Committee. And if she doesn't, the RNC should remove her from her position without delay.
