President Biden Can Still Cancel Student Debt

We call on President Biden to cancel student loan debt for borrowers immediately -- no matter their loan type. We applaud the Biden Administration's efforts to continue fighting for student debt cancellation, but the President can’t do it alone. He needs our help to demonstrate that student debt cancellation remains a top priority of the American people.

Over 3.5 million borrowers have received $127 billion in student loan cancellation under the Biden Administration, which has been life-changing. We are here to remind President Biden that he must also keep his promise to the other 40 million borrowers.

Student debt cancellation not only represents financial freedom for millions of Americans, but a lifeline for survival. We know firsthand that canceling student loan debt means fewer families have to choose between paying on their loans and putting food on the table, more families have the ability to grow, and the American Dream of home-ownership becomes more of a reality. We demand that President Biden cancel student debt for borrowers, regardless of loan type, as soon as possible. A majority of Americans have made it clear that they stand with borrowers regardless of loan type, age, or degree attainment. It’s time to listen to the American people.
