Negotiate Union Contracts with Crew Members in Good Faith

IATSE and the Teamsters have warned of another Hollywood strike this summer. If the studios cannot reach a deal before crew contracts expire on July 31 — another strike is very possible.

Negotiations have already begun. Over the next few months, they will bargain for health and pension benefits as well as wage increases and quality of life improvements.

Over the last year we have seen workers across the country bravely walk off the job to fight for healthy and safe work conditions and benefits. When workers are fighting for what they deserve, all of us need to stand with them.

Sign the petition urging studios to negotiate union contracts with Hollywood crew members in good faith.

“We are not afraid to strike,” Sean O’Brien, the president of the International Brotherhood of the Teamsters said. “If these greedy corporations — whether it’s Amazon, Netflix, Sony…Disney — if they choose not to reward our members, they are putting themselves on strike.”
