Investigate Southwest for Unreported Incidents

Southwest airlines has some explaining to do following recent events.

A Boeing 737 Max suffered damage to various parts of the structure as the aircraft reached heights of 34,000 feet from Phoenix to Oakland, California.

The incident occurred on May 25, but Southwest did not notify the National Transportation Safety Board about the damage until June 7.

When airlines experience malfunctions that could put passengers in danger, they need to notify regulators immediately.

After Southwest airlines was confronted about the lack of communication, they claimed that they are participating in an investigation but declined further comments.

Separately, the FAA is also investigating a separate Southwest flight from April that almost crashed into the ocean near Hawaii.

The American people deserve better than this. Airline safety is so important, and transparency into issues flights encounter need to be communicated.
