Disqualify Trump From Running For Office

Donald Trump was recently indicted for attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

But while that case could take a long time to resolve, there’s another opportunity to ensure that Trump is held accountable and that he never steps foot in the White House again.

Under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, Secretaries of State have the power to bar Trump from running for office as a result of his role in the January 6, 2001 Capitol insurrection.

“Trump is responsible for the January 6th insurrection, plain and simple,” said Alexandra Flores-Quilty, campaign director for Free Speech For People. “Failing to hold him responsible not only violates the Constitution, but it also sets a dangerous precedent for permitting violent attacks on our democracy. That’s not a risk we can afford to take.”

Sign the petition calling on Secretaries of State to act now to disqualify Trump.
