Did you hear about the wolf who died in a trap recently? She suffered for two whole days before finally succumbing to her injuries.
The poor thing even tried to hang on, nibbling the grass around as she lay in what became her final resting place.
Wolves don’t deserve to die such cruel deaths just because they take one wrong step. We’re calling on Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops to stop selling wolf traps today. Are you with us? Add your name.
A wolf trap can’t distinguish between a wolf, its pup, or even a bear cub.
With one wrong step, these unsuspecting critters are condemned to a cruel and agonizing death.
Wolf traps snap paws, ensnare wolves’ necks, and even cut off blood flow to these pups’ brains. “Relief” -- if you can even call it that -- might not come for days until a hunter finishes the job.
Catching limbs and cutting off blood flow -- it’s time for wolf traps to go. Let’s get them off shelves at Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops. Urge the retailers to stop selling wolf traps today.
At Environmental Action, we’re working to ban wolf trapping and killing no matter the manner or state.
We can start by getting America’s biggest outdoor supplies retailer to stop lining its shelves with these killer traps. Will you join us?
